Today is second day of Chinese New Year. The time passes very fast. For Chinese, normally they are not keen to visit friends for the first day of New Year, but they will prefer to stay home with family for a great meal in the morning. The Chinese will prefer to take vegetarian meals in the first day of new year. Chinese will start visiting friends in second day onwards. This is culturally followed by most of the Chinese.
Well, in the past years, there was no rain at all during the few days of Chinese New Year, but this year is different. It already started to rain on the eve of Chinese New Year and also first and second day of new year. Perhaps this may indicate a good sign for the money coming in (my personal thought only), because rain indicates water that meant is money in Chinese.
For me, Chinese New Year is nothing special but the difference is that all the family members get to be together to have meals. It is not like fun having CNY, maybe because I have grown up. Not kids anymore. :-)
